Braces!
Gerren and Chase took the plunge today and had braces put on. Chase only has top braces at this time and not on all her teeth. She still has some baby teeth, but we are trying to make room for some of the permanent teeth to come in. The two upper teeth that replace the molars she had pulled last week are twisted 90°, which is why we got started early with her. The whole procedure will be more complicated and multi-stepped for her.

ACK! We've only had 1 in braces at a time. Our 2nd dd is due to get hers off the first of the month and she can hardly wait! It only took just over a year for hers. It went much faster than they expected. With our oldest dd it took months LONGer than they expected.
Yikes! Two at once?! Jordan will have to have them, but we are trying to hold off just a little bit longer. He has baby teeth still that we were praying will fall out on their own...but it looks as though they'll have to be pulled.

Yep! Add $330/month to your budget plus two down-payments of $1270. Lovely! Thankfully, they allowed us to make one down payment this month and one in October of next year.
Oh my, we just wrote the last check for Sam's braces about two weeks ago. It was an awesome feeling. I cannot imagine having TWO with braces. Sam started off with her top ones and then had the bottom ones put on at a later date. She is scheduled to get them off by January. Although she never had a problem with broken bands - her problem area was in keeping her teeth brushed properly ;)
Wow - two at once! Hmmm what do you say to kids who get braces? "Congrats" - not quite right.....

Like your new look. LOL I didn't manage to save my header....well I did save the template so I probably have it...but I was ready for a fun change...maybe I'll go back....but not until after Christmas. LOL
