I'm teaching Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Personal Finance class to 12 homeschooled high school students this fall. We had our first class this week, and it went really well. I'm looking forward to the rest of them. Chase had her first girl's choir practice and guitar lesson this week (thankfully we had paid in advance for the semester of guitar) and got to go over to a friend's house Thursday afternoon.
Here are the promised pictures from our timeshare finally!
Dad supervises the construction.
Carys enjoyed the beach more this year than last.
What a little model!
Landon really enjoyed fishing again this year.
This was the only kind of fishing Chase did.
We went to the Southwest Florida Museum in Bradenton one day. It includes a planetarium and aquarium. We got in free with our reciprocal museum passes.
We got in on the feeding of the 61-year-old manatee, Snooty. The girls listened attentively.
I love these photo ops!

Linda, I'm praying for your family. What a blessing for you to have a nice vacation as you go through this tough time.
What's up with the new blog? Are you ready for fall? lol
Yes! We have to pretend it's fall here. So, once Labor Day arrives, I being pretending. :)
Hi Linda,
I've been praying for you all. What a blessing to be able to rest at the beach for a bit! Hang in there. God has a plan.
Cute photos. Sorry about the job situation. I haven't heard of much going on around here in housing or commercial building construction. My blog was definitely neglected for quite some time as well.. there just isn't time for everything and when I'm not feeling "up" the last thing I want to do is blog so I can relate to you in that regard.
Looks like a fun vacation.
Praying for Greg and your family.
LOL about pretending it's fall! I needed to use the woodstove this morning, nearly WINTER here!
