An Awful Weekend!

Well, this was a long awaited 3-day weekend for us. We were only planning to be at church Saturday night, so we had 2 glorious free days. I planned for a lot of catching up to be done on Greg's part. Well, Saturday morning he came home from getting his hair cut and didn't feel well. It was all downhill from there. He has eaten only a couple small bowls of applesauce and a bowl of soup since then. And none of it has actually stayed in him. I won't go into the graphic details, but he hasn't thrown up, if you get my drift!

Chase's stomach started hurting her Saturday, too. She was brave and ate dinner that night after church. It was a mistake. She woke up in the middle of the night and threw up. She didn't eat anything Sunday. We were supposed to go to a kick-off party for a new Community Group at church that night. I figured Chase and Greg would stay home, but they insisted on coming. About halfway through the party, we couldn't find Greg anywhere. Turns out he's in the van, sleeping!

This morning, I woke up with a migraine (I wonder why!), and Greg and Chase were still sick. I have never seen Greg sleep for 3 solid days, but that is pretty much what he's done. I don't know how he's going to work tomorrow, but he insists he'll be fine. Chase did eat supper tonight and feels better. However, Landon feels awful now and has stopped eating. Gerren's having the same problem Greg started out with, but it hasn't made him feel sick or stop eating.

Sigh! Needless to say, NOTHING got done around here this weekend. I'm just praying Carys and I stay well. We leave for Phoenix in 9 days. Everyone needs to be healthy!
