This Sunday comes in the middle of a marathon of 7 "Christmas Eve" services at church--2 Saturday evening, 2 Sunday morning and 3 on Christmas Eve itself. I'm playing one of the keyboards this weekend, so we're there every day. Greg and the kids are working in the preschool. Saturday was the longest day since it meant leaving our house at 1:00pm for a 2:00pm rehearsal followed by 2 services then dinner. We were back home around 10:00pm. We had to leave again at 7:45am Sunday morning and got home around 1:00pm. I didn't do much of anything else that day.
We did catch up on our Advent reading, though, and also opened the gift for this week. It was the DVD of
Meet the Robinsons. When we saw this movie a month or two ago, Greg just loved it. He said it was the best movie he'd seen in a long time, so it was a must-buy for Advent.

I guess it's good to be able to spread them over three days? Or maybe not . . . That makes it difficult to get everything ready for your own family.
You'll have to review Meet the Robinsons. We skipped it, but I'd reconsider if you think it was good.
Merry Christmas!
Our services were also spread out over 3 days. We only had six, but hey.... after 4 or 5 what's a couple more, right? (LOL)! I didn't have to play this year, but my dh did. The kids and I went visiting different services this year - a different church each day for all of the holiday services.
Linda - I love the photo of Carys with the movie. Meet the Robinsons WAS a surprisingly good movie.
Thanks for the idea of advent gifts - we loved it and it made more sense for us than more Pj's. LOL
