Here is Carys dancing to a song from the Messiah.

Carys starts opening the package.

This week's gift was a box of books with something for everyone.

Landon got Brisingr, the last book in the Eragon series. Of course, Gerren will read that also and had to complain that I didn't pick that book specifically for him. :( Gerren's books were the first two books in the new Tales of Terrestria series written by a pastor, Ed Dunlop. Chase got 4 Pippi Longstocking books. She was in a habit of wearing her hair in braids awhile back, and Greg began calling her Pippi. Finally, Carys got 3 Veggie Tales board books.

I can hardly believe Christmas is in 3 days!

Every year Christmas and the passing of another year seem to come faster and faster.
We didn't like the Handel advent book as well as the Jotham series, but I'm still glad we did it as we were able... same as you. .. not every night, but enough to make our way through it.
Ed Dunlop lives about 2 miles from us! Let me know if Gerren likes them. We haven't read them, yet.
He read the first series, which he received for his birthday last year, straight through. Although he felt they were predictable (a gospel-allegory sort of series), he must have liked them because he read them. He never sticks with books he doesn't like.
