Ice Skating

Erin has been ice skating since they moved to NC. Now, she teaches the youngest kids in the Homeschool Skate Academy and works at the Ice House. Chase couldn't wait for an ice skating lesson.

Erin helps Chase put on her skates.

Erin taught Chase the correct way to get up once you fall.

Erin was a great teacher, and it wasn't long before Chase left the sides and was zipping across the ice. They started without coats, but Chase had her coat and hat on before they quit three hours later.

Say cheese!

Thanks for all your help, Erin. Good job, Chase!

Ice skating sounds like fun! Love the background. I saw that one and wondered what it would look like on a blog so I was glad to see it in use!

Way to go Chase! I've never been able to master ice-skating.

Awww! That's awesome that you and the Miskiewiczs have made this tradition. When I read your blog, I took a little while to reminisce about the early days of homeschooling and some of the friendships we made...your family included!

I agree, Michelle! In many ways, the early days were the best... less stress, more time for friends, etc.

Three hours, wow! I bet Chase was sore after that! How much FUN. My dd ice skated for two years and really enjoyed it.
