He did an excellent job in planning and many kudos were given to him and the rest of his staff.

It's so funny to see pictures of him with other people his age. Landon takes after his dad and is much shorter than the rest of them!

Lieutenant Joyce Lampasona was the Commander (senior member).

The real crowd pleaser this year was the Navy's Blue Angels. They were awesome!

They worked really hard. Landon had some trouble with blisters as did a few other cadets.

Landon decided to give awards this year at AirFest just like they do at encampments.

Gerren was named the Outstanding Line Staff of AirFest. (Landon was against it because he thought it would look like favoritism, but he was out voted by the rest of the staff!)
A representative from the Air Force gave him a very cool challenge coin.

Landon also received a challenge coin for being the Cadet Commander.

I am one proud mama!

Linda, I love reading about your boys' CAP experiences and successes! I hope that it's something Trevor will join, as we have a unit up in Roanoke. Congratulations to both Landon and Gerren. I have never noticed that Greg is not tall. You should be proud; these boys have worked hard--they stand out in a group of boys who already are achievers that stand out! :)
Thanks so much, Kristine! Greg is 5'7" - not tall for a man! :)
Nice! What fine young men you're raising!
I wish Samantha would think about getting involved with something similar. Good for you for helping your children to stay engaged with the things that interest them.
We miss CAP. I keep wondering if Jared could get it going in 2 years, but there doesn't seem to be much interest around here. Sad....
Congrats to Landon and Gerren. the blue angels are amazing, aren't they?
