Carys has had to go back to entertaining herself. She loves playing with the Great Adventures toys that belonged to the boys when they were little. She actually decided sitting in the box was fun as well.
Last night, Carys ran into the edge of the granite countertop in the kitchen. It was not pointy, but it was hard! She's got a nice shiner this morning, although it doesn't show up very well in this picture.

Trevor did the same thing when he was the same age--ran into the counter, ended up with a black eye and an awful bruise in the same spot. OUCH!!!! Poor Carys!
That's so funny, Kristine! Out of 4 kids, Carys is the first one to do that! :)
OUCH!! And school? Already???? we're about to gear up, too, but I'm SO NOT READY!
