Cadet Airman of the Year!

Tonight was the Civil Air Patrol Squadron's Awards Night. I debated whether or not to go because it's always tough keeping Carys quiet for very long. We decided to take separate cars and leave as soon as promotion was over. At that point all I knew was that this was promotion. I knew nothing about the other awards that would be given.

Landon was being promoted to Senior Airman and really wanted us to be there. So we went.



What none of us knew, including Greg (who is a senior member) was that Landon was being awarded Cadet Airman of the Year by the squadron. Greg is the Cadet Activities Officer (I can't keep all this stuff straight), so he was up there to help give the Cadet awards. He got to give Landon his award.



We were all shocked and very proud, to say the least!
